John Evdemon

John Evdemon has been designing and deploying enterprise systems for nearly two decades. John works on SOA and MDM initatives at Microsoft. John recently served as Chair of the OASIS WS-BPEL Technical Committee (BPEL). Prior to joining Microsoft John was a senior executive with Booz Allen Hamilton, CTO of XMLSolutions and Director of Web Services for Vitria. John has designed and delivered enterprise-strength solution architectures for several Global 1000 companies. John also has several years of experience in the US Public Sector, having worked as a senior consultant to various Federal agencies. John served as an Invited Expert with the W3C where he helped develop the XML 1.0 and 1.1 standards. John has also assisted with the development of various e-business initiatives at OASIS, RosettaNet, UN/CEFACT and X12. John is an experienced writer, having served as Editor-in-Chief for XML Journal and contributed to several columns, books and journals on XML and e-business.
